The 2010 school year will commence on Monday February 1 for students in Pre-Primary to Year 6.

Some important dates prior to the commencement of school and during the first few weeks of Term 1. Please note the first School Newsletter with Term Calendar will be sent home via students or email on Thursday February 4.

• Monday February 1 - Students in Pre-Primary to Year 6 commence classes at 8.50am - NO STAGGERED START FOR PRE-PRIMARY STUDENTS - FULL DAY ATTENDANCE.
• Tuesday February 2 - Kindergarten Group A students commence 9.30am-11.30am
• Tuesday February 2 - Kindergarten Group B students commence 12.30pm to 3.00pm.
• Tuesday February 2 - 6.00pm Parent Meeting Year 1 and Year 2.
• Tuesday February 2 - 7.00pm Parent Meeting Year 5 and Year 6.
• Wednesday February 3 - 6.00pm Parent Meeting Pre-Primary and Year 3.
• Wednesday February 3 - 7.00pm Parent Meeting Year 4.
• Thursday February 4 - Kindergarten Group B students attend 9.30am to 11.30am
• Thursday February 4 - Kindergarten Group A students attend 12.30pm to 3.00pm.
• Thursday February 4 - 7.00pm Kindergarten Parent Meeting.
• Monday February 8 - Swimming Lessons commence Year 3 to Year 6 and conclude Friday February 12.
• Monday February 8 - Pre-Primary and Year 2 Welcome Morning Tea for parents.
• Tuesday February 9 - 9.00am Assembly hosted by Year 6.
• Tuesday February 9 - Kindergarten Group A continue from 9.30am to 11.30am.
• Tuesday February 9 - Kindergarten Group B continue from 12.30pm to 3.00pm.
• Wednesday February 10 - Year 1 and Year 4 Welcome Morning Tea for parents.
• Wednesday February 10 - 6.00pm P&F Meeting
• Wednesday February 10 - 7.00pm Board Meeting.
• Thursday February 11 - Kindergarten Group B continue from 9.30am to 11.30am
• Thursday February 11 - Kindergarten Group A continue from 12.30pm to 3.00pm.
• Friday February 12 - Year 3, Year 5 and Year 6 Welcome Morning Tea for parents.
• Tuesday February 16 - Kindergarten students commence FULL DAYS.
• Tuesday February 16 - Kindergarten Welcome Morning tea for parents.

The Annual General Meeting of St Maria Goretti’s School will be held this MONDAY NOVEMBER 23 @ 7.00pm in the school hall. All families and friends are invited to come along to hear what our dedicated and hard working team from the School Board and P&F have accomplished during 2009 and what they hope to achieve for 2010. A babysitting service will be offered in Kindy.

Look forward to seeing all our families on Monday evening.
